The Men’s Club of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton functions as a means of fellowship for the men in our parish community. We come together to share our God given talents and time.
The Men’s Club has an active agenda which includes supporting the parish, the community and our youth. Activities include raising funds by dealing Vegas Nights for other organizations, by hosting our own annual Vegas Casino Festival, and our annual car raffle.
We also find time for family picnics, golf and other sports outings. To fill the time between fund raising activities and socializing, we tackle church improvements, award scholarships and in general, support requests for assistance that come our way.
Fellowship
On the second Wednesday of each month, 50 to 80 motivated men get together at a ritual known as the Monthly Men’s Club meeting. Some are young executives on the way up. Others are older retired folk, maybe somewhat past their prime!! However, they are an excited an enthusiastic bunch (except the cranky one in the back row!) With that number of men in the room along with an ample supply of refreshments, there will be at least 120 different opinions on each topic. This requires some strong leadership which the Men’s Club fortunately has. Our key officers and leaders are listed below:

Men’s Club Scholarship Program
The Men's Club is no longer accepting applications for the 2018 Scholarship Program. The Deadline for Submitting the Scholarship Application
was March 31, 2018. If you submitted an application, you will be notified of the results. Thank You for participating in the 2018 Men's Club Scholarship program.
Watch the bulletin for 2018 results in June.
The Men’s Club congratulates the 2017 Scholarship Competition winners with $20,000 being awarded to six deserving students. Four Seniors entering college were awarded $2500 each. One student attending a Catholic High School was awarded $4000. The Seton Service Award College winner will receive $6000. We wish all of our winners success in their studies and careers..
Family Activities
The Men’s Club plans and holds an array of activities for the members and their families. A favorite is the Annual Family Picnic usually held at the Country Place Clubhouse and Pool. Another is the annual Men's Club Appreciation Dinner, where the Knights of Columbus graciously come and deal for the Men’s Club Casino dealers, giving them a chance to sit on the other side of the table for a change.
With several Golf Tournaments, trips to Stars games, Maverick games and the Lone Star Race Track, the year gets pretty busy. But it is not so busy we can’t squeeze in the Frisco Rough Riders and a Rangers’ game.
The Men’s Club also sponsors and supports Boy Scout Troop 259 which meets every Monday evening in the Faith Formation Center gym.
If this is your bag, come to a meeting and sign up for your favorite activity. Once you attend an event, you will be deemed qualified to be an event coordinator!!! Someone’s got to do it!!
