Dear Parish Family,
Bishop Burns has issued a "Shelter in Place" policy for all diocesan parishes (no matter what county they are in). This means that until April 3rd, all parish campuses will be shut down. There will be no public services and the staff will be working from home.
Starting tomorrow (until April 3rd at this point), the Church will be closed. If you have an urgent need for a priest, you can still call the main parish office at 972-596-5505 and the answering service can assist you.
A reminder that Bishop Burns has dispensed us from the obligation to attend Sunday Mass until April 3rd. However, I highly encourage you to have spiritual communion by praying with the Mass on your computer or TV. See links below.
Also, our Holy Father Pope Francis is asking people of all Christian faiths to pray the Our Father tomorrow (Wednesday, March 25th) at Noon for those affected by the virus and for the containment of the disease.
Please continue to pray, fast and support those in need. It is times like this when our faith is needed more than ever. God Bless you and your loved ones!
Yours,
Father Bruce Bradley
