I hope and pray that you and your loved ones are well during this challenging time! I often find myself saying; "Stay well. Stay healthy and stay at home if you can!"
Our own namesake patron St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, and many other saints, lived through epidemics and various struggles in society. The difficult moments of life often help us clarify what is really important to us. It causes us not to be so busy as to take everything for granted, but rather to slow down and evaluate what really matters.
St. Teresa of Avila, a great spiritual writer, wrote a short reflection often called "St. Teresa's Bookmark" as it was found in her prayer book after she died. The statement is: "Let nothing disturb you; let nothing frighten you, all things are passing; God only is changeless; patience gains all things. Who has God wants for nothing. God alone suffices."
Please remember to join us for our live stream Masses on Saturdays at 6:00 p.m. We have a direct connection with our facebook camera so the sound is much better now. Go to our parish facebook page or you can also watch on our parish website with the overhead church camera as well.
Our parish is now partnering with "Lovepacs", a non-profit, which delivers much needed meals to qualified children and families in our local school districts.
We are hosting a food drive this coming Sunday, April 26th in our west parking lot from 2-4 p.m. Please see the details above on photo rotator.
Our Columbarium will be open on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. for visitation and prayer. Please continue to observe proper "social distancing" protocols. I am sure we all long for an end to our quarantine. We look forward to having fellowship and to celebrating the sacraments in person as the "Seton Family!"
