Dear Friends and Parish Family,
I would ask that you remember in your thoughts and prayers Mr. Terry Wooliscroft. Mr. Wooliscroft has acted as our Director of Finance & Administration for a very long time. He has served our parish family for twenty two years. He made the choice to retire some months ago. For the past month Terry has graciously been orienting our new Director of Finance, Marianne Larson, as she makes her own adjustment in serving our parish.
Terry created a consistent safe environment and security program for our parish use in the 1990’s. His program became a template for many other parishes. When I served as pastor at St. Jude in Allen (1989-1999) we used Terry’s program seeing the wisdom of the measures this parish had taken under his direction.
Mr. Wooliscroft is a very dedicated worker. I felt secure that our finances were in good control under his supervision. We wish him well in his “retirement”. Sometimes people work harder when they retire than when they are in the work force! His is already searching out some activities, such as volunteer citizen patrol in the City of Carrollton, to contribute positively to the community where he resides.
Many of you have worked with Terry on many projects and events. We will miss his professional presence in our parish community. We are grateful for his work among us. His work here ended on August 31, but his influence will remain. Again, remember him and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
Yours, - Fr. Bruce Bradley
