We wanted to pass along a supplemental youth faith program offered by our Seton Boy Scout Troop 259 - known as the Ad Altare Dei religious medal program (to the altar of God). Details about this program post are posted at
National Catholic Committee on Scouting.
The Ad Altare Dei is a 4-5 month long program. The class is limited to 8 to 10 boys from nearby boy scout troops, who are Seton parishioners and completed the 6th grade. The program also includes a day of reflection or campout retreat.
Initially the classroom portion of the program will be conducted online.
Classes start Aug 19 and are held most Wednesdays at 7-7:45pm. Cost is ~$10 for the official workbook and ~$20-30 for the retreat.
If interested contact Scott O'Mary, Scoutmaster Troop 259 at

Meeting Time: Mondays at 7:00 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. (Except Monday after outing) Room 230 of the Faith Formation Center
