We are a ministry that offers support and hope to men, women and families fighting cancer and other serious illnesses. Through this ministry, parishioners and their families touched by cancer, or other serious illnesses, are provided with help and spiritual support that are specific to their needs as a care-receiver, caregiver or loved one. If you or a loved one is fighting this type of battle, please know you are not alone. We can help. If you have a need, please call Mimi Conner at 214-202-9421.
Let us help you with the immediate day-to-day things so you may focus on getting well. There are many services we can provide. For example, meals, rides to doctor appointments, light yard work, or throw in a load of laundry. We are here to listen, to journey with you. We have individuals that are cancer survivors themselves, trained and ready to walk with you and listen with care and God’s love. You don’t have to travel this journey by yourself.
If you would like to volunteer to be a part of this ministry we would love to have you! There are opportunities to become involved in this ministry in multiple ways whether or not cancer has touched you or your family. We do provide extensive training to be aware of the physical, emotional and spiritual struggles patients are going through, as well as their caregivers. The ministry covers the whole person. If you feel you may be interested in this new ministry as a volunteer, please join us. Contact us via email at cancersupport@eseton.org.
