We are in the process at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton of creating a ministry that offers support and hope to men, women and families fighting cancer. Through this ministry, church and community members touched by cancer are provided with help and spiritual support that are specific to their needs as a cancer patient, caregiver or loved one.
In preparation for the launch of Friends on The Journey, we are gathering volunteers and providing training to be aware of the physical, emotional and spiritual struggles cancer patients are going through, as well as their caregivers. The ministry covers the whole person. If you feel you may be interested in this new ministry as a volunteer, we will be holding an information night on January 21
in room 109 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. please join us.
There will be many opportunities to become involved in this ministry in multiple ways, whether cancer has touched you or your family or not. For more information please contact us at
