Christians celebrate the funeral rites to offer worship, praise, and thanksgiving to God, the author of life and the hope of the just. The Mass, the memorial of Christ’s death and resurrection, is the principal celebration of the Christian funeral. (Order of Christian Funerals, no. 5)St. Elizabeth Ann Seton’s priests, deacons and staff are ready to walk with you through the funeral planning process and offer consoling support you as you grieve. In the time of loss, we assist families in arranging Vigil Prayer Services, Recitation of the Rosary, Funeral and Memorial Mass, Burial/Interment of Cremains, Rite of Committal, and Receptions for the family and friends of the deceased.
Making Funeral Arrangements at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton
When faced with the loss of a loved one, please call the Parish Office at 972-596-5505 as soon as possible (answering service takes calls after business hours). Our priests are always available to attend to and pray with the dying and family members. In addition, Mary Wojcik will assist you in the scheduling and preparation of the Funeral Rites.
