Bishop Burns issues Decree on Phase Two of the Incremental Reopening Plan

On April 29, 2020, Bishop Burns issued a decree which began the first phase of the diocesan reopening plan. As indicated at that time, the opening of the Diocese is to occur in four phases.  This decree addresses the implementation of Phase Two.  There is currently no scheduled date for Phase Three.

During Phase Two:

• Weekend Masses (Saturday and Sunday) remain suspended during this phase.
• Public weekday Masses (Monday through Friday) may continue on Tuesday, May 26, 2020. These weekday Masses are limited to one Mass per day per parish at 25% of building capacity.
• Protocols will be enforced to ensure limited and restricted attendance in keeping with distancing and safety protocols as presented by and following civil and health authorities.
